Figma Inc. shares fell 4.16% to $24.17 Friday afternoon as stronger interest-rate expectations and a stronger U.S. dollar weighed on cloud software and other growth stocks. The pressure followed August's hotter-than-expected payrolls report, which increased expectations that the Federal Reserve could raise interest rates at its next meeting. The decline came despite Figma's strong second-quarter results released Aug. 5: revenue reached $370.1 million, up 48.2% year over year, while adjusted earnings per share were 8 cents, beating Wall Street estimates for a net loss. Management raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to $1.463 billion-$1.467 billion, or 39% year-over-year growth at the midpoint, and projected third-quarter revenue of $373 million-$375 million. The company attributed momentum to expanding enterprise adoption and AI credit monetization features.
