US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $175 million in net inflows on Sept. 4, while Ethereum spot ETFs added $26.46 million. The combined total exceeded $200 million, but it was below the roughly $872 million collected by both categories on Sept. 3. Bitcoin ETFs attracted approximately $731 million on Sept. 3, their largest single-day inflow since Jan. 14, 2026, with BlackRock’s IBIT accounting for about $454 million, or 62% of the total. Ethereum ETFs drew around $141 million that day, led by BlackRock’s ETHA with $72.07 million and Fidelity’s FETH with $65.11 million, while Grayscale’s ETHE saw a $6.07 million outflow. A separate Sept. 4 account put Ethereum ETFs’ cumulative net inflows at about $13.17 billion and assets under management at $15.92 billion, while the SoSoValue snapshot in the existing record showed $13.193 billion and $15.566 billion, respectively. Bitcoin ETFs had accumulated approximately $55.44 billion in net inflows since their January 2024 launch and held around $103.34 billion in assets, equal to roughly 6.3% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization. Ethereum ETF assets represented about 5.2% of Ethereum’s market capitalization. The latest inflows followed $236.5 million in Bitcoin ETF outflows on Sept. 1. Bitcoin trading above $80,000 and Ethereum above $2,500 coincided with the inflow rebound, while market observers cited dovish commentary from Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller as a possible catalyst for the risk-on mood.
