Southeast Asian blockchain companies have raised $680 million so far in 2026, more than double the $319 million raised during all of 2025, while the number of funding rounds fell to 25 from 46. Crypto.com's $400 million strategic investment from Citadel Securities, announced in July at a $20 billion valuation, accounts for nearly 60% of this year's total. Crypto financial-services companies attracted $498 million across 19 rounds, ahead of tokenization platforms with $114 million, decentralized application development platforms with $77 million, and blockchain networks with $49.5 million. Singapore remains the regional funding hub, accounting for 82.5% of cumulative blockchain equity funding and hosting 2,285 of Southeast Asia's 3,957 tracked blockchain companies. The data from Tracxn shows a recovery in dollar funding led by a small group of established companies, rather than a broad return to the high-volume investment cycle seen in 2022.
