Foxconn posted its highest-ever August revenue as demand for Nvidia AI servers propelled its cloud and networking business beyond consumer electronics as the company's largest revenue source. August sales rose 52% from a year earlier to NT$921.766 billion, following a record NT$946.512 billion in July and extending a run of monthly revenue above NT$900 billion to two months. Revenue for the first eight months reached a record NT$6.51 trillion, up 39.7% year on year. Cloud and network products accounted for 51% of second-quarter sales, compared with 29% for consumer products, a sharp change from 2024 when consumer products represented 46% and cloud 30%. Foxconn said third-quarter results should exceed market expectations as AI demand grows and ICT products enter their seasonal second-half peak. The company is also co-designing AI data-center hardware with OpenAI for planned production in the United States.
