SK Innovation and the Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will co-host the fifth Ulsan Forum on Sept. 11 at the Ulsan Exhibition & Convention Center. Under the theme "Leading AX, Smart Life Ulsan," the event will examine AI transformation (AX) in manufacturing and the expansion of AI into everyday life. Its first session will feature a keynote by Lee Min-woo, Director General for Industrial Growth at South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, demonstrations from the M.AX Alliance and a panel on physical AI policy. The second session will focus on AI-based social innovation, with keynotes from Upstage CEO Sohn Hae-in and UNIST professor Lim Min-hyuk. About 300 attendees are expected, while WAVE 2026, Ulsan's flagship industrial exhibition, will run concurrently from Sept. 10 to 12. The program reflects SK Innovation's effort to connect SK's semiconductor and data-center AI capabilities with manufacturing applications and regional social challenges.
