Hanwha Investment & Securities is actively building its Avalanche-based Digital Asset Platform, or DAP, for a planned first-half 2027 launch. The platform will initially target high-net-worth individuals and family offices seeking private-market exposure to hedge funds, private credit, real estate, intellectual property and unlisted shares, while Hanwha pursues overseas markets with more permissive regimes before Korean rules take full effect. South Korea's Financial Services Commission has set February 4, 2027, as the start of the first phase of its tokenized-securities roadmap, which places such instruments within the Electronic Securities Act and Capital Markets Act. Earlier industry reports described Hanwha as having completed an Avalanche-based token-securities system developed by FairSquare Lab and designed to support both Avalanche and Hyperledger Besu. Boston Consulting Group estimates South Korea's tokenized-securities market could reach about 367 trillion won, or roughly $250 billion, by 2030.
