BTCB2, a Bitcoin hard-fork asset that later adopted Blake2 proof-of-work, reached $1,799 on Sept. 5 before falling sharply and trading between $750 and $1,000 for roughly four hours. Local market data reported about $1 million in 24-hour volume on Neoexa, while earlier reporting identified the exchange as Neoxa. At $1,000, BTCB2's fully diluted valuation was about $20.9 billion, though limited liquidity, sparse exchange coverage and replay-attack concerns make that figure highly uncertain. The network split from Bitcoin at block 961632 on Aug. 8, 2026, then resumed after changing its mining algorithm and reducing block size.
