Bitcoin's 90-day correlation with gold rose to 0.59, its highest level since 2020, as concern over fiscal conditions in developed economies supported both assets. The reading follows Glassnode's 0.57 measurement on Sept. 7 and reinforces a reversal from March, when Bitcoin was more closely correlated with the Nasdaq-100 than gold. Bitcoin's 90-day correlation with the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was -0.17, compared with -0.41 for gold, indicating a less pronounced inverse relationship with bond yields. The shift has renewed the digital-gold narrative, though Bitcoin's links to risk assets, gold and macroeconomic conditions have changed across market cycles.
