Four Bitcoin wallets dormant for more than a decade moved a combined 202.84 BTC worth approximately $15.73 million between August 29 and September 4, 2026. The wallets were 13 to nearly 16 years old, including a 40 BTC holding acquired at roughly $3 per coin and now valued at about $3.09 million, and a 146.06 BTC holding worth approximately $11.31 million. A 6.78 BTC transfer carried a Coinbase recipient attribution, which is commonly associated with a possible sale, although wallet movements can also reflect consolidation or custody changes. Several wallets had Noah Doe sender tags linked to a New York lawsuit involving dormant addresses. The activity follows an earlier August wave involving six wallets and roughly $40 million of Bitcoin, while Galaxy Research data indicates that coins dormant for at least 10 years have been reactivated at an unusually high rate in 2026.
