Two attackers have reproduced a recent Notional Finance vulnerability attack pattern on BSC (BNB Smart Chain), according to a SlowMist alert cited by PANews on Sept. 7. They completed preliminary preparations and created malicious fCash positions (time-based protocol claims) using the same vulnerability pattern. The attack has not been fully executed because the positions are awaiting expiration; once they mature, the attackers may settle them and withdraw assets from the protocol. SlowMist strongly urged affected projects to implement safeguards before the positions expire.
