Pineapple Financial, which trades on NYSE American under PAPL, has moved part of its funded residential mortgage portfolio onto Injective, a layer-1 blockchain designed for financial applications. The migration covered 2,079 mortgage records as of Sept. 4, up from 1,259 when the program began in December 2025. Each tokenized record is a digital counterpart to an existing loan file rather than a repackaged financial instrument, while the underlying mortgage remains in its original legal and servicing structure. The records contain more than 500 data points to support authorized verification, audit trails and risk analysis. Pineapple aims to place more than 29,000 funded mortgages, worth over $10 billion combined, on the network over time. PAPL0, the token tracking the records on Injective, had an approximately $1.1 billion asset market cap on Token Terminal, up about 48% over nine months, but does not convey ownership of the loans. Pineapple also established a $100 million INJ treasury and stakes INJ with Kraken as its primary validator. Injective Institutional Services registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a transfer agent on Aug. 19, while Injective Mint remains in private alpha. RWA.xyz data put tokenized real estate at about $226.5 million of the approximately $38.8 billion real-world asset market, with the property segment up 11.7% over 30 days.
