The Korea Life Insurance Association has officially launched three artificial intelligence systems for complaint management, insurance advertisement screening and internal regulation searches. The complaint system converts consultation content into text in real time, classifies complaint types and provides counselors with relevant response materials. The advertising system conducts initial checks against the association's review regulations and standards, while designated staff retain responsibility for final decisions. An internal tool searches 136 association regulations and identifies relevant clauses and supporting grounds. The association plans to develop an AI system for generating insurance agent registration-exam questions within this year and expand its AI transformation program to 17 projects by 2027, including legal review, disclosure-data verification, article clipping, contract review, overseas-material translation and statistical verification. Chairman Kim Cheol-joo said the association would build AI as operational infrastructure and share its experience with member companies to strengthen the life insurance industry's capabilities and consumer services.
