The purchases were made under the €1.0 billion share buyback programme announced on April 30, 2026, which is intended to reduce ING's share capital. Cumulative purchases under the programme reached 24,930,805 shares at an average price of €27.76, for total consideration of €692,010,672.99. ING said the completed purchases represent approximately 69.20% of the programme's maximum value.
