Global DRAM industry revenue was reported at $154.73 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 59.5% from the previous quarter, as demand for large language model training and AI inference lifted shipments and prices. Samsung Electronics remained the leading supplier with sales of $60.98 billion and a 39.4% market share, while SK Hynix recorded $38.59 billion and 24.9%. Micron increased sales 65.5% to $36 billion and raised its share to 23.3%, narrowing its gap with SK Hynix to 1.6 percentage points. The latest figures differ by a factor of 10 from the previously recorded industry and company revenue figures of $15.473 billion, $6.098 billion, $3.859 billion and $3.6 billion; the reason for the discrepancy is not stated. TrendForce expects DRAM price growth to slow to 13% to 18% sequentially in the third quarter as demand shifts toward lower-capacity products and PC and smartphone makers face greater difficulty absorbing price increases. Inventories remain historically low, while leading suppliers are expected to accelerate advanced-process transitions through 2027 and Taiwanese mature-process producers may capture unmet demand.
