Ripple moved roughly 1,363,615 RLUSD from the XRP Ledger to Ethereum on September 6, removing the tokens from circulation on XRPL and minting an identical amount on Ethereum seconds later. The matching transactions indicate a supply rebalancing rather than the creation of an additional $1.36 million of RLUSD; the amount was previously reported more precisely as 1,363,614.85 RLUSD. Ethereum now holds about $1.38 billion of RLUSD versus $1.03 billion on XRPL, giving it roughly 57.3% of total supply and a lead of nearly $350 million. Ethereum's advantage follows a brief period in late June when XRPL moved ahead. The shift reflects Ethereum's deeper DeFi liquidity and Ripple's multi-chain issuance strategy, not a departure from XRPL or a reduction in XRP's role on that network.
