Xiaomi’s Japanese subsidiary is re-releasing 200 units of the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi, with reservations opening September 7 and global production already complete. Priced at ¥249,800, the handset is based on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and combines Leica-tuned imaging, a knurled aluminum frame, a Leica-branded rear panel and a rotating camera ring for controlling focal length, zoom, exposure and ISO. Buyers receive the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit Pro, valued at ¥19,980, at no extra cost. Separately, Xiaomi has announced the Xiaomi 18 Fold for China, starting at CNY 10,999. The 219-gram foldable has 5.38-inch and 7.58-inch 120Hz displays, a 6,000mAh battery and a Leica camera system led by a 200-megapixel main sensor. International availability has not been disclosed.
