Zhihu said its wholly owned subsidiary signed a subscription agreement with the fund's general partner and manager to invest 1.5 billion yuan of its own funds for a limited partnership interest. After completion, Zhihu expects to hold no more than 30% of the fund. The fund will run for seven years, with an extension of up to two years, and will have a four-year investment period focused mainly on early- and mid-stage unlisted companies in mainland China working on artificial intelligence and frontier technologies.
