Chainlink’s LINK token climbed to $13.64 on September 7, its strongest level since January 18, 2026, extending a 94% gain from its June 22 low. The rally coincided with growth in the network’s DeFi Total Value Secured, which rose from $33.98 billion to $40.02 billion in 30 days, and with expanding institutional and enterprise use. Futures open interest reached $784 million, the highest level in 11 months, while derivatives volume rose 8% to $1.04 billion. Chainlink’s infrastructure has processed $34 trillion in cumulative transaction volume, according to market analyst Chris Barret. New or expanded applications include a collaboration with the United States Commerce Department, a Bottomline agreement covering more than 600 financial institutions, BitGo’s planned migration of over $15 billion in digital assets to CCIP, and Wyoming’s use of Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve technology. The market remains exposed to potential selling pressure after large holders transferred 2.41 million LINK, worth about $26 million, and another 620,000 LINK, worth roughly $7.6 million, to Coinbase. LINK-focused exchange-traded funds recorded no net inflows from August 31 to September 4, compared with $986 million for Bitcoin ETFs and $218 million for Ethereum ETFs. Technical analysts have identified targets ranging from $15 to $22, while $12 remains a key support level and a break below it could expose $11.50 or $10.70.
