Solana processed roughly $64 million in Zcash spot trades over 24 hours, placing it fourth among platforms tracked for ZEC volume behind Binance, Coinbase and Kraken. The figure was up 220% from prior metrics and represented about 5.35% of global ZEC spot trading. Bridged ZEC on Solana had a reported tokenized value of $112.8 million, with OmniBridge helping move liquidity into the network's decentralized exchange ecosystem. Raydium and Orca absorbed much of the activity, while cumulative decentralized exchange volumes for ZEC-related assets reportedly exceeded hundreds of millions over recent periods. The move coincided with Grayscale's launch of a spot ZEC exchange-traded product, which provided traditional investors with a regulated way to gain exposure to the privacy token. Zcash uses zero-knowledge proofs (cryptographic methods that verify facts without revealing data) to support optional transaction privacy. The growth also highlights bridge risk: cross-chain infrastructure has been the largest attack surface in decentralized finance (blockchain-based financial applications) in recent years, with billions of dollars in losses, and the $112.8 million tokenized value represents significant assets dependent on bridge security.
