WinWay Technology (6515.TW) shares rose NT$700 to the NT$7,700 daily limit-up price after the semiconductor test-interface maker reported record August consolidated revenue of NT$1.706 billion, up 6.58% from July and 233.37% year over year. Revenue increased for a fifth consecutive month and set a monthly record for the third straight month. First-eight-month revenue reached NT$9.81 billion, up 97.88% year over year and NT$190 million below NT$10 billion. WinWay attributed the performance to urgent demand from global artificial-intelligence customers and is reallocating capacity as new production comes online. Institutional investors expect further growth from AI and high-performance computing orders, MEMS probe cards, coaxial sockets and the HyperSocket superconducting test socket, with second-half performance projected to exceed the first half. Executive Vice President Chen Shao-Kun said capacity could expand by about 50% in the second or third quarter next year. Monthly probe output reached 6 million pins in the first half of 2026, is planned to rise to 9 million by year-end and is targeted at 14 million by 2027. WinWay is also pursuing more than 10 co-packaged optics projects, with small-volume production not expected before the second half of 2027 and meaningful volume growth likely in 2028.
