Canary Capital’s Canary Staked TRX ETF, trading under the ticker TRXS, is scheduled to begin trading on Cboe BZX Exchange on Sept. 9, 2026, offering U.S. brokerage investors exposure to TRX while the trust stakes most of its holdings for network rewards. Under normal conditions, the trust would stake at least 90% of its TRX, with staking service fees capped at 20% of rewards and the remaining net income reflected in net asset value rather than paid as separate distributions. The product carries a 1.10% annual sponsor fee, compared with fees of roughly 0.19% to 0.25% for most U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which do not include staking. Justin Sun publicly confirmed the planned listing details on Sept. 8, although the latest available S-1/A filing remained subject to completion and described the shares as expected to list subject to notice of issuance. TRXS is separate from Nasdaq-listed Tron Inc., while its proposed structure could provide a test case for staking in other U.S. crypto exchange-traded products.
