Hyperliquid, a perpetual futures platform offering contracts without expiry, repurchased and permanently destroyed 15,350 HYPE in the past 24 hours. The tokens were valued at about $1.32 million, with an average price of $86.17. Since the burn mechanism began, 48.45 million HYPE have been removed from circulation, equivalent to about $4.11 billion at the current price and representing 4.84% of the token's maximum supply.
