Fomo, a Solana-based social trading platform, generated $1.76 million in revenue on Sept. 4, surpassing the $1.1 million recorded by meme coin launchpad Pump.fun for the first time on a daily basis, according to DefiLlama data cited by Cointelegraph. Pump.fun remained far ahead over 30 days, with more than $57 million in revenue compared with Fomo’s $17.6 million. Fomo combines trading with social features that let users follow and view other investors’ activity in a feed-like format. The company says more than 68,000 users made their first crypto purchase through Apple Pay, with combined trading volume of about $25 million. In June, Fomo raised $75 million in a Series B round led by Index Ventures at a $550 million valuation and launched Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures trading for users outside the United States. Fomo also said cumulative referral fees paid to users exceeded $2 million as of June 2. The daily revenue lead comes as meme coin issuance growth slows, but one day of outperformance does not establish a lasting competitive shift.
