Verisk, whose shares trade under Nasdaq ticker VRSK, has launched Fraud Discovery, a modular insurance fraud prevention platform that brings together fraud intelligence, advanced analytics, network analysis, digital media forensics and case management. The platform is designed to help insurers identify hidden relationships across people, organisations, policies and claims; detect opportunistic, organised and coordinated fraud; assess images and documents for manipulation and deepfakes; prioritise investigations; and manage workflows across underwriting, claims and fraud teams. UK insurers detected £1.16 billion of fraudulent claims across 98,400 cases in 2024, while the industry estimates a similar amount may have gone undetected. Hiscox, Allianz and law firm Weightmans are adopting the platform at launch. Barclays adjusted Verisk's price target to $225, implying a 21.1% potential gain from the current stock price of $185.79.
