Bybit added USDT-margined perpetual contracts tracking EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/JPY on Sept. 8, 2026, extending its TradFi Perpetuals suite into foreign exchange. The EURUSDUSDT, GBPUSDUSDT and USDJPYUSDT contracts offer eligible traders synthetic exposure to major currency movements without requiring them to hold euros, pounds or yen, with maximum leverage of 100x. Unlike dated futures, perpetuals do not expire and use funding payments to keep contract prices aligned with their underlying spot pairs. The products trade around the clock, although price tracking, spreads and liquidity may be weaker when conventional FX markets are closed. Bybit had not disclosed volume, liquidity or open-interest data for the new contracts. A prior topic record separately reported Bitget launching similar USDT-settled FX perpetuals on Sept. 9, 2026.
