US spot Bitcoin ETFs have reduced their 2026 net outflow deficit to roughly $1 billion after a rebound in investor demand. SoSoValue data show $3.52 billion of net inflows in August and $770.15 million so far this month. Earlier reporting cited approximately $3.8 billion during a three-week September inflow streak, including $986.9 million in the week ending September 5 and $730.9 million on September 3; the latest figure represents a revised or different measurement period. May and June outflows, including roughly $4.51 billion in June, remain the main drag on the year-to-date balance. Analysts at Bitfinex said the next test will be whether inflows withstand this week’s U.S. inflation data and a Treasury buyback. Continued buying while short-term yields remain elevated would suggest the policy rate is no longer the binding constraint on Bitcoin, they said. Oil is another risk, with WTI futures above $94 after rising 10% this month, potentially reviving inflation concerns and broader risk aversion. Since launching on January 11, 2024, the ETFs have recorded roughly $55.6 billion in cumulative net inflows and about $101.3 billion in assets under management.
