Robinhood Markets selected OG.com, the CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange spun out of Crypto.com, as infrastructure and clearing provider for its prediction-markets business. Robinhood Derivatives, a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant, began routing retail event contracts through OG.com's exchange and clearinghouse on Sept. 8 in a phased rollout for eligible U.S. customers. Under a multi-year agreement, Robinhood will take undisclosed equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com. The investments will be priced on terms aligned with Citadel Securities' $400 million investment in Crypto.com at a $20 billion valuation. OG.com was spun out as an independent entity valued at $5 billion, with dedicated capital to expand markets tied to sports, financial, economic and cultural events. Crypto.com said the arrangement is OG.com's largest prediction-markets partnership by transaction volume. Robinhood will continue routing some event contracts to Kalshi, ForecastEx and Rothera as it broadens a business that generated $156 million of second-quarter 2026 revenue, exceeding its equity-trading and cryptocurrency-transaction revenue in that period. The expansion comes amid legal disputes over whether federally regulated sports-event contracts are subject to state gambling rules.
