xStocks, a platform for trading tokenized assets on-chain, has issued $790.9 million in tokenized assets, comprising $779.9 million in stocks and $11 million in commodities, according to Token Terminal. The largest assets are STRCx at $147.8 million, CRCLx at $80.5 million and MSTRx at $70.5 million. Solana hosts 65.8% of the assets, underscoring the network’s central role alongside Ethereum and other blockchains. The platform launched on June 30, 2025, with 60 assets and now offers more than 700 tokenized stocks and ETFs. Cumulative transaction volume has exceeded $35 billion and registered holders have surpassed 200,000. xStocks uses SPL tokens on Solana and ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum, providing 1:1 price exposure to underlying equities backed by shares held in custody, without voting rights or direct ownership. Backed Finance provides tokenization infrastructure, while Kraken Wallet supports self-custody and 24/7 trading. The tokens are unavailable to U.S. persons, and custody risk remains a consideration. The issuance reflects growing interest in blockchain-based access to traditional assets, although significant price movements were not reported.
