IonQ raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to $450 million-$460 million from $280 million-$290 million, largely reflecting revenue from SkyWater Technology, the semiconductor foundry it acquired on July 31 for approximately $1.8 billion in cash and equity. At its Sept. 8 Investor Day at the New York Stock Exchange, IonQ introduced the Superion product line, beginning with a 256-qubit trapped-ion system scheduled for customer deliveries in 2027, and said it had completed six tape-outs during the first half of 2026. The company also launched SkyWater Quantum Solutions, a merchant foundry service for quantum-hardware companies across different technology approaches. IonQ is developing a Superion 10K platform with approximately 10,000 physical qubits, targeting a fault-tolerance demonstration in 2027 and commercial availability in 2028. Separately, IonQ disclosed an $8.18 million quantum-security agreement with Congruity360.
