Ethereum recorded a combined net outflow of approximately $501 million from Binance across seven negative readings between August 28 and September 8. Binance’s August 28 outflow of $187 million was its largest negative daily ETH netflow since June 5, when the exchange recorded $207 million in net outflows. Additional negative readings followed on August 31, September 3, September 4, September 5, September 6 and September 8. The June 5 comparison was broader: OKX and Bybit recorded roughly $97 million and $86 million in negative netflows, respectively, taking combined outflows across the three exchanges to about $390 million while Ethereum traded below $1,600. ETH later rose to around $2,480, leaving its current price more than 55% above its early-June level. The latest data do not establish that the post-June price move will repeat, but the size and persistence of Binance withdrawals have kept the exchange-flow trend in focus as Ethereum trades near $2,500.
