Strive purchased 1,375 BTC for $109 million, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 24,531 BTC and reinforcing its position as the fifth-largest Bitcoin treasury firm. The company’s average purchase price was almost $79,281 per BTC, while cash and cash equivalents rose to $202,600. Strive’s preferred security, SATA, provided 70% of the capital raised last week and now has $999 million in notional outstanding, close to the $1 billion mark. CEO Matt Cole has said Strive aims to acquire more than 20,000 BTC before year-end, potentially making it the second-largest treasury firm behind Strategy. Strategy still holds 845,050 BTC despite selling some holdings over the past two months. Strive’s common stock, ASST, has gained more than 100% over the past month, although it fell more than 2% as Bitcoin pulled back from above $82,000.
