Polymarket has launched Squads, a social feature in its US app that lets users create private groups, discuss markets and events, share positions and trading combinations, view members' activity and follow trades directly from shared holdings. Each participant continues to trade through an individual Polymarket account. Squads launched on September 8, 2026, ahead of football season, alongside Polymarket HQ, the company's first football-season campaign directed by Peter Berg and featuring LeBron James, Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, Spike Lee, Sue Bird, Richard Sherman, Rajon Rondo and other sports and cultural figures. Polymarket also recently launched Polymarket Perps for trading price movements across crypto, stocks, commodities and indices. Polymarket US operates as a CFTC-regulated designated contract market under the Commodity Exchange Act.
