Cobo co-founder and CEO Shen Yu said on social media that his negative experience with ZEC began when Zcash launched its mainnet in 2016. BitMEX had set a 10 BTC price ceiling, and shortly after mining started on launch night, lightning struck the transformer serving his GPU mining farm.
