Strategy has listed $250 Bitcoin-themed, Air Jordan 1-inspired sneakers through its official online store, renewing attention on the company's decision not to accept Bitcoin for the merchandise. Checkout currently supports bank cards and Apple Pay, while Bitcoin payments are unavailable despite Strategy holding 845,050 BTC. The Strategy-branded mid-top shoes feature leather overlays and orange branding, and have not been identified as an official Nike collaboration. The product had previously been shown as sold out, while Strategy did not disclose production volumes. The company last reported its Bitcoin holdings were acquired for $63.73 billion at an average price of about $75,412 per coin and repurchased 1.81 million STRC preferred shares for $176.3 million from dollar reserves instead of buying additional Bitcoin.
