Michael Burry disclosed his latest portfolio changes through his Substack account on Sept. 9, with Lululemon now his largest long position at 17.4% of the portfolio. The stock subsequently dropped 12% after disappointing quarterly results. MercadoLibre represents 12%, while Molina Healthcare and Temple & Webster each account for 9%. His other long positions include Adobe, Zoetis, JD.com, HCA Healthcare, Flutter, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Sprouts, PayPal, Veeva, Birkenstock, Build-A-Bear and Nvidia, which he also uses as a hedge. Burry’s short positions, ranked by size, include the iShares Semiconductor ETF, Micron, Nebius, CoreWeave, Oracle, Palantir, Nvidia, Caterpillar and Invesco QQQ Trust. His QQQ put options account for about 6% of the portfolio. Overall short positions exceed 21% of the portfolio before the put options are included, reflecting continued bearish exposure to parts of the technology and AI markets. Burry fully closed his Tesla and Applied Materials shorts at a profit, sold all SOXX put options and replaced them with larger QQQ put positions. The revised portfolio combines bullish exposure to selected consumer and healthcare stocks with bearish positions in parts of technology and AI.
