BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) attracted $3.7 billion in quarterly net inflows, lifting assets under management to $62.6 billion and reinforcing its lead over U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF rivals. Cumulative inflows since the fund launched in January 2024 have exceeded $63.9 billion, more than the category’s total net inflows because competing funds have experienced net redemptions. IBIT recorded a $454 million single-day inflow on Sept. 3, 2026, while 30-day inflows through early September reached $2.78 billion. The fund charges a 0.25% sponsor fee, yet leads the market in assets and trading volume. Its inflows represent new capital supporting purchases of Bitcoin, although price gains also contributed to the increase in assets.
