Soluna Holdings energized the final 14 megawatts at Project Kati 1 in Texas on Sept. 8, completing the 83 MW Bitcoin-hosting facility and lifting its total operating capacity to approximately 206 MW. The project completes the first phase of a planned 166 MW computing campus. ERCOT (Texas grid operator) conditionally classified the full Kati campus as Base Load, a designation covering Kati 1 and the planned 83 MW Kati 2 expansion. The status preserves interconnection capacity based on earlier studies but remains subject to ERCOT verification. Kati 2 is planned for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, while Kati 1 remains dedicated to Bitcoin hosting powered by the Las Majadas wind project in Willacy County. Soluna said its August co-mining agreement with Bitdeer is being implemented, with equipment delivered and deployed.
