Steve Witkoff reported nearly $107 million of 2025 income through a holding company affiliated with World Liberty Financial, including nearly $69 million in cash and $38 million in crypto. The disclosure, which showed income more than three times the prior year's amount, renewed scrutiny of the U.S. special envoy's financial connection to the Trump-linked crypto venture. The White House said Witkoff has now fully divested from World Liberty, after the company said in May 2025 that he was in the process of selling his interest and had no operational role or financial interest in its deals. President Donald Trump reported $526 million from World Liberty token sales and another $65 million from equity sales in the company's holding entity. World Liberty has received preliminary conditional approval to form a national trust bank for USD1 issuance and custody, while its WLFI token has declined since public trading began last fall.
