GPGI, Inc. is facing a securities class action filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired its Class A common stock from November 3, 2025, through May 6, 2026, inclusive. Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. announced the case and said investors have until September 14, 2026, to ask the court to appoint them as lead plaintiff. The lawsuit alleges that GPGI and other defendants overstated Husky's value, lacked an objective basis for revenue and Adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) targets included in the Proxy Statement, and pursued the Husky Acquisition partly to generate millions of dollars in fees for Resolute Holdings and individual defendants. It further claims the defendants misrepresented the combined business, prospects and expected financial results of GPGI and Husky, causing investor losses when the alleged facts reached the market.
