Aave Labs has launched an official Model Context Protocol server at mcp.aave.com, giving compatible AI assistants access to live Aave V3 and V4 data and tools to construct transactions. The server cannot execute transactions: it returns unsigned transaction requests or EIP-712 typed data that users must sign with their own wallets, while Aave Labs says it holds no keys and cannot move funds. Announced on September 8, the first-party connection is built on Aave Kit and is designed to provide accounting consistent with Aave's own interfaces, including Hub and Spoke accounting and Risk Premium. It provides roughly 40 tools for market, reserve, position and health-factor data; action simulations; transaction preparation; swap workflows; and governance queries. Aave says the service can help agents monitor borrowing risk and prepare a repayment when a user-defined health-factor threshold is reached, but the user retains final signing authority. The server supports Aave V3 deployments across 21 blockchains and Aave V4 on Ethereum and Avalanche.
