U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $46.6464 million in net outflows on Sept. 8, ending three consecutive inflow sessions after the funds attracted about $1.0065 billion from Sept. 2 through Sept. 4. Grayscale's GBTC accounted for $65.5096 million of the withdrawals, while BlackRock's IBIT, Bitwise's BITB, ARK Invest's ARKB and Morgan Stanley's MSBT recorded inflows. The Sept. 2-4 rebound included $101.1 million on Sept. 2, $730.8 million on Sept. 3 and $174.6 million on Sept. 4, despite renewed expectations for a possible 25-basis-point Federal Reserve rate hike after August employment data. HYPE spot ETFs posted $12.9556 million in net outflows on Sept. 8, led by withdrawals from Bitwise's BHYP and 21Shares' THYP, while U.S. spot ether ETFs lost $24.2921 million as Grayscale products recorded redemptions despite a $9.89 million inflow into Fidelity's FETH. The broader trend remained mixed: bitcoin and ether products attracted $987 million and $218 million, respectively, in the week from Aug. 31 through Sept. 4, while XRP led weekly altcoin ETF inflows with $19 million.
