Shinhan Asset Management’s SOL AI Semiconductor Materials ETF reached ₩1.0486 trillion in net assets as of September 7, making it the largest South Korea-listed ETF focused on semiconductor materials and equipment. Retail investors recorded ₩230 billion in cumulative net purchases since the start of the year, while the fund returned 23.14% over one month after recovering from a July market pullback. The fund excludes integrated chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, instead covering South Korean suppliers across high-bandwidth memory, advanced packaging, semiconductor substrates and fine-patterning processes. Its holdings span the wider AI semiconductor supply chain, including Hanmi Semiconductor, Jusung Engineering, Isu Petasys, Wonik IPS, Daeduck Electronics, HPSP and Leeno Industrial.
