Webull shares rose 0.42% to $9.61 in Wednesday premarket trading after the company completed its acquisition of approximately 99.36% of Thailand-based Pi Securities for about $100 million. The transaction closed on Aug. 31, 2026, following approval from Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission and comprised a 90.98% stake bought from Country Group Holdings for approximately $90 million and an additional 8.38% stake purchased for $10 million. Webull plans to combine its digital platform, technology, data and AI capabilities with Pi Securities' more than five decades of Thai market experience across equities, derivatives, research, advisory services, wealth management and depositary receipts. The companies will initially retain separate brands and operations while targeting combined assets under management of THB 200 billion and expanding access to international securities and investment products.
