On-chain investigator ZachXBT accused the user Mr Austin Fine, whose X account is @xmrfine, of converting victim Malone’s stolen crypto assets into luxury goods while charging fees. ZachXBT also said Fine might act as an informant. He said he would consider the relationship severed until Malone received compensation and warned that the dispute would negatively affect Fine’s current and future brand partnerships. ZachXBT later said he had traced some of the funds on-chain through Monero (a privacy-focused cryptocurrency) to TBTFW, a luxury car dealer in Los Angeles, where they were used to buy a vehicle.
