Energean reported a 45% increase in first-half 2026 profit after tax to $160 million, while free cash flow rose 35% to $250 million. Revenue from production activities fell 8% to $743 million, but adjusted EBITDAX declined only 5% to $478 million, above Stifel's $410 million consensus estimate. A 29% increase in realised liquids prices lifted liquids revenue 14% to $267 million. Average working-interest production fell 10% year on year to 124,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day after a 41-day government-mandated suspension of Israeli output linked to regional conflict, alongside lower production from Cassiopea in Italy. Output subsequently recovered to 135,000 boe/d over the first eight months and exceeded 180,000 boe/d in August, keeping the company on track for full-year guidance of 130,000 to 140,000 boe/d. Net debt declined to $3.23 billion, while leverage increased to 3.0 times adjusted EBITDAX from 2.9 times at the end of 2025. Energean retained its 2026 guidance, trimmed its exploration and decommissioning spending outlook, and said first gas from the Katlan project remains on track for the first half of 2027.
