DeepSeek plans to officially release V4.1 Flash around Sept. 10. The company says internal and external testing showed the new model outperforming V4 Pro across performance, cost, speed and total time. Once V4.1 Flash launches and until V4.1 Pro is released, requests sent to V4 Pro will automatically be routed to V4.1 Flash and billed at the cheaper Flash rate. Users will not need to change their existing V4 Pro calling method.
