Bitcoin closed around $54,000-$55,000 on Sept. 8 as its rebound continued, while large deposits to spot exchanges showed no abnormal surge. Inflows to the 10 largest spot exchanges reached 5,442 BTC, up 4.4 times from the previous day but only 5.1% above the 30-day average. The seven-day average was 4,678 BTC, below several peaks recorded earlier this year. CryptoQuant analyst Woominkyu said the data provides limited evidence of sustained selling pressure from large transfers. The key metric to monitor is whether the seven-day average inflow continues rising as prices weaken.
