JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd.’s board approved a proposal to change the company’s English name to Jinko Holdings Limited and adopt a Chinese dual foreign name. Shareholders will consider the proposal at the annual general meeting in Shanghai on October 21, 2026, alongside the re-election of two independent directors and ratification of PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP as auditors. The proposed name change remains subject to applicable regulatory procedures. The company said its American depositary shares are expected to continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange under JKS. The proposed name reflects JinkoSolar’s role as the holding company for its controlling interest in Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. (SSE: 688223), while highlighting a second growth engine focused on minority investments in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, advanced materials, commercial space and other frontier technologies. Its cited portfolio includes Moonshot AI, StepFun, SiliconFlow, Noetix Robotics, Taiyi Quantum and Janbon Metallic Materials. The company also described recent financing, listing and liquidity events involving portfolio companies, including more than RMB400 million in fair-value gains tied to Gold Electronic in the first half of 2026 and more than RMB300 million in cash proceeds from selling a substantial portion of its LAPLACE stake.
