Roundhill Investments has launched the Roundhill MLCC & Electronic Components ETF, which trades on Nasdaq under CCML and targets companies involved in multilayer ceramic capacitors and related electronic components. MLCCs store and release small amounts of electrical charge across circuit boards, helping regulate power delivery. Because AI servers consume more power than conventional systems, they can require more capacitors, potentially benefiting MLCC manufacturers as AI infrastructure spending grows. Production is concentrated among manufacturers in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China, none of which are listed on U.S. exchanges, according to the announcement. CCML is designed to give U.S. investors packaged exposure to that supply chain, which Roundhill says ships trillions of MLCCs each year.
