Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP said a securities fraud class action against Pentair plc has been expanded to cover investors who acquired Pentair common stock from March 11, 2025, through July 14, 2026, replacing the previously cited April 28, 2026, start date. The complaint alleges Pentair and certain executives concealed severe Pool-channel inventory destocking, used unsustainable distributor channel-loading practices and issued financial guidance without a reasonable basis. Pentair’s preliminary second-quarter 2026 results, announced after the July 14 market close, projected sales of about $930 million versus prior forecasts of $1.14 billion. The company said Pool-channel destocking reduced segment sales by approximately $170 million and segment income by approximately $105 million, while full-year sales were expected to decline 4% to 7%, compared with earlier guidance for 2% to 4% growth. Pentair also announced the immediate departure of Chief Financial Officer Nicholas Brazis after four months in the role. Shares fell $11.35, or 15%, to $64.33 on July 15. Investors have until October 2, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff.
